Join us for an unforgettable evening of live music as we bring together some of Southern California’s most talented young musicians for a special fundraising concert supporting their upcoming performances in Japan and San Francisco!
Why We’re Raising Funds
The Mission Bay Preservationists will return to Japan in March 2025, representing San Diego in its sister city, Yokohama. This trip, first initiated in 2017, fosters international collaboration through music, offering students the opportunity to perform at community events and connect with local musicians.
The Mission Bay Mambo Orchestra is headed to San Francisco to expand their jazz experience and share their talents in one of the country's most historic jazz scenes.
We need to raise $60,000 to make these trips possible! As a Title 1 school, Mission Bay High School serves a diverse student population with limited resources. This program gives them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel, perform, and engage in cultural exchange through jazz.
